I'm sure as models they will be good I'm just not convinced they fit with the low fantasy/magic of the Guild Ball world that has been explained so far

Also yes I understand where your coming from Mark & Paul. The dark fantasy world they were building seemed to be devoid of machinery & 'tech' so this feels out of place.

Watched a live onlive Guild Ball sculpting session yesterday. They showed Boiler in his possed position and were working on Brisket. If all the models keep up to the standard they have set we will be very happy people even if some of the models are not to our prefered taste I think they will still look great.

I'm just waiting on one person to confirm their Union player and then I can complete my Backerkit. So far its: Butchers Masons Morticians Fishermen/Alchemists/Brewers (still to choose) I will also order extra union players to make a full team.

Interestingly enough it seems that once the backer kit is done they will be taking pre-orders if people want to join the party.

For those that don't get the updates Guildball is opening a preorder store soon with a great looking Limited Edition posed miniature...
I really like the Ltd edition poses rather then Ltd edition characters as these models simply replace those that are readily available which gives a nice twist to it all.
Anyone taken the time to navigate round the Guildball site yet?

I have been on the guild ball site quite a bit, up until now it's basically been a good forum with a downloads section for the playtest rules. The site should be updated this weekend so looking forward to seeing what they do with the site.
As I am going to be playing as the Butchers it would be rude not to get the limited edition Boiler!

So I believe Guild Ball pre-orders are available through the KS page and element games seems to be affiliated with the game too and will at ok some just on release - how many teams have we got for the new year? Then how many new people can we get into it too?
