With the first game over the Swiss draw system others in similar positions. This really meant if you wanted to be on top you would have to so really well and win all your games. The second game was the scouring with corner to corner set up so a whopping 18 VPs were up for grabs, so even having a slow start in the first mission didn't mean you were out of the running. We saw some epic duals throughout and the top tables thinned out the field again after this brutal game. The final game was a custom built scenario called the pillars of war. 4 - 3 point objectives near the corners of each board then a 6 point in the middle - again offering 21 points maximum to the victor which again meant the top tables had tough fought games to get a win to challenge for top spot. Check out some of the action below! After a hard fought game the top two were unbeaten all day and third place had a W/L/W but between 3rd and 8th there was a handful of points showing just how close the too urbanely was. So grabbing the trophies were! 3rd Place: Chris & his DE: 2nd Place: Neil & his Marines + Cotez: 1st Place: Adam & his Tau list: And finally best painted voted by the players: Congratulations to Adam an commiserations to the valiant challengers he dispatched along the way! I will try getting the final rankings and put them up here too for everyone! Hope everyone had as much fun as I did on the day and please add more photos of your own below and share your thoughts on things. Also you may have noticed we had our next generation of 40k players playing some Munchkin!
