This is a site for the members of the first DND intro game to discuss their experiances and also to add recaps of the sessions that have happened.
This will also be where the session times are listed.
Character Creation will be based on the set stats option in the book to match the current PC's

Current Recap Session 4:
The Group currently nicknamed the EARS find themselves in the inn in the town of Phandelver nearing the end of a long day. There first day though is not quite over with Fargrim currently talking to an old adventuar about strange goings on in Wyvern Tor whilst Roscoe and ..... decide to have a private chat with the head of the miners exchange where they then arrange a ruse to distract the Redbrands with a false rumour so they can get the upper hand in a engagement.
They then reurn to the pub for a well earned rest.
In the following morning they are preparing to pretend to leave town to help their ruse work when Roscoe's nephew shows up and say's wants a word. As such most of the group head over to the local shop where they have a quick discussion with Roscoe's aunt and then head with her back to her farm where they are introduced to Jandar the Druid.
After discussion with the aunt they have also decide to seek out a local druid who maybe able to help them and Jandar agrees to guide them. They then decide to hide in the barn for a few days whilst Jandar and the aunt keep an eye out.
Then two nights late as they prepare to use a secret entrance into the Redbrand camp. Max decides that first they should take out any redbrands that might be lottering in the local pub the Giants slumber. Other party members argue they should just go with their current plan but Max walks off to the pub and the rest of the group follow.
The EARS enter the pub seperetly and take up positions whilst Roscoe convinces the other patrons not to get involved.
Max then starts a seriers of provications of the 4 Redbrands in the pub what end with him using his (Member) to hydrate their redbrand table and drinks what then cause the fight to start but with drawn blades rather than fists.
At first the Redbrands are able to react quickly and do some damage but soon the group are able to use weight of numbers and their placement to good effect. Max takes the lead fighting between two to three of the redbrands at several points.
Fargrim became enraged at one point in his duel with a redbrand and as the euthsiastic but careless thug overstreached himself Fargrim lopped off his head and sent it spinning into the melee around Max distracting one of the redbrands enough that Roscoe was able to put a arrow all the way to the fletching into his eye.
Another who was attaching Jandra and the ELf Wizard was thrown into terrored flight by Jandra changing into a bear who then finished him off.
Whilst this was happening Max easily finished off the last Redbrand.
All through this fight ......... foiund herself being propersitioned by a drunk smelly dwarf just down from minning in the hills.

Current Recap Session 5/6: The group having despatched the Redbrands in the local bar and are now clearing up with Max burying the bodies whilst Roscoe used the little loot they where able to aquire to pay for the damages to the bar.
The group then decide to seek ut the hidden entrance to the Redbrands Lair. After a while they discover the secret entrance and plunge into the darkness after one or two trips in the darkness what alert everyone within a 10 mile radius of thir precence they decide they need ligt to guide their way.
They soon found themselves in a 80ft long natural cavern but with several obviously worked exits. They also saw running down the middle of the cavern a ravine spanned by two bridges.
The group decided that is in new places you should always take the first left turning and promtly found a door to investigate. Proving they could not hear a roch concert at 5 paces they heard nothing but rumbling behind the door and entered where they found 3 bugbears tormenting a small goblin. The dramatic entrance of the group caused the goblin to faint on the spot. Whilst the Bugbears veiwed the party suspeciasly.

So the group found itself facing three suspicious bugbears who Roscoe and Jondra tried to convince to work for them but due to some unfortunate rolling they found themselves quickly in a fight against the bugbears.
Max quickly charges in to trade blows with the leader whilst Roscoe scouts around the leaders back to attack from behind only to realise to late that the bugbear standing behind the looks a lot bigger up close. Roscoe is soon battered down by the brutal bugbear whilst the others find themselves hard pressed from the start. All of them working together were able to down one bugbear. Whilst Max valiantly held the others and suffered for it.
Then Kas (Controlled by James I believe at the time as Michael was not there on the night.) cast sleep on the bugbear unfortunately he did not realise the effect it would have on those nearby and only one Bugbear fell into slumber whilst Max also fell. This clear the way for the Bugbear leader to get some damage on the rest of the group who through sheer desperation and use of large amounts of magic felled the bugbear. Realising that they need to get several members back on their feet and that they now had someone to question (The fainting Goblin) about the place they decided to take a rest in the bugbears room even with the now deceased occupants crowding the place. They also hoped that if anyone had a commotion that they would not realise the group was hiding in the bugbears room!!! After they had healed several members back to consciousness and awoken the sleep party members they roused the gently sleep goblin. This was revealed to be Droop a rather sad and timid member of the species happy to help in any way he could as long as they did not hurt him. He revealed that the Bugbears where emissaries of the Cragmaw Goblins and that they were waiting to speak to the boss man of the Redbrands. He even explained where the boss man was to be found. The group then decided to follow the corridor they had been using and what according to Droop did attach to the leaders room. Off they marched with Roscoe and Kas in the lead pushing the reluctant Droop. They then made him open the door at the end of the corridor and see how many people where in it to which he gave various numbers but the first and loudest was 4. But not believing him they entered the room to find 4 Redbrands at a table that instantly realised that certain members of the party (Roscoe) would not be wandering around in a Redbrand cloak normally.
Realising that they had been rumbled the group started the attack but unfortunately the Redbrands sprang into action quicker than anyone was expecting and where able to block the entrance trapping Roscoe and Kasdimio at the door and forcing everyone else to fight at a distance. Kasdimio was able to move to one side whilst Roscoe scooted through the legs of a Redbrand and took up a tactical position on a table on the other side of the room (??) This then allowed other members of the group to move to the front and the fight quickly turned against the redbrands with the last one deciding to flee but Roscoe was not about to allow this and as the fugitive dash out of the room and down some stairs Roscoe took careful aim and shot him before he could raise the alarm. The body was then dragged back to the room and the bodies searched before the group decided to head onto the next room what was apparently where the boss was located according to their informant Droop. So the group prepared themselves to face the Redbrand leader and face their mightiest challenge yet, but on entry into his room they found a potion lab that was currently in full swing but no one was in the room bar a scurrying rat looking for food. On examination of the set up Kasdimio realised that the potion being brewed was an invisibility potion. Wanting to see if it was ready but not prepared to check it herself she convinced Droop to try it. As soon as the unfortunate goblin consumed the draft he turned into a floating silver mist what took all by surprise. But Kasdimio seeing an opportunity quickly gathered as many vials of the potent mixture as he could. The group then sent the Misty droop into the next room to see what was there. When through a long series of hand gesture they worked out the room was empty the group entered to find a plush bedroom and began to ransack the room. 1 party member found a secret door what they used without anyone noticing and went exploring.
The rest of the group then realised they were short one person and began a proper search of the room where they found the secret door and the lost party member who said he had been dragged there by a creature that had been able to move through walls. The group then moved cautiously through the secret tunnel onto the next door what lead them in to a storage area connected to the large cavern they had originally entered the Redbrand lair through. They quickly checked the boxes and even found several valuable Beaver and Mink Pelts. With nowhere else to go some of the group moved back into the cavern where Bilbo soon started hearing a voice in his head demanding his worship and demands to be feed whilst also talking of other strange events. Bilbo tries to convince him that he wants to help feed and worship the voice in his head. As he talks the voice demands that someone be sacrificed and when Bilbo fails to convince it that that would be a bad idea or distract. The creature behind the voice begins to mentally attack the group members.
Eventually it is spotted hiding in the shadow of one of the bridges and the group attack or try to anyway. Jondra decides to turn into a bear and jump down and do battle with the creature but unfortunately miscalculates the drop down and ends up face planting next to the creature who now takes the opportunity to attach in person as well as keeping up a mental assault on the rest of the group.
Eventually the rest of the group are able to bring it down low and a quickish search reveals a small treasure trove of money and a magical sword. After the group pull themselves from the fissure they decided to take a short rest whilst Kasdimio explores the crates room again where she quickly discovers another secret door. This time the group progress together through this door and first discover a small armoury what they raid for as many crossbows as they can use and then moving on they find a room filled with burial caskets and skeletons. Fearing a trap they send Roscoe forward to see what is in the room. Upon reaching the other side Roscoe turns to the group to signal them forward but before he can do that Fargrim calls out asking is it all clear. This awakens the three skeletons that stand up and at this point the group attack at first the attack does not go well but then the group get the other hand or so it seems as the last skeleton prepares to attack another three skeletons arise from within the coffins to joining the fight with two picking on Roscoe who had found a hiding spot between the coffins or what he thought was a hiding spot. Then Kasdimio decided to launch a burning hands spell at the skeleton to punish them for their attack but unfortunately it went a bit aerie and suddenly everyone in the room found themselves covered in glowing but harmless green flames. Shortly afterwards the group where able to finish off the skeletons and explore the room to find any treasure. Whilst Jondra was told off by many as they believed he had caused the green flame illusion and so should be able to dispel it what he could not do. After a while the group decided to move on first finding an apparently empty corridor behind one door and then exploring the next where they sent Roscoe in first and he was then ambushed by two redbrands who were standing by in wait to ambush him and the rest of the group. After some hard fighting the group where able to force their way into the room and finish of the redbrands attackers. They then discovered and freed the Blacksmiths wife and children who were grateful.
