Hi.
I got directed to your forum by the guys at Phantasia hobby shop (Eastbourne).
I was told you guys play x-wing miniatures on Thursday nights. Is this true? If so when and how many of you.
I like to think I am above average player and won 3 tournaments out of 4 last year. (not trying to be a big head).
However I've been out of the loop in the x-wing world most of this year but was able to pick up the tentative on the amazon sale.
If any one can pass me on details that would be great.
Thanks, Ben

Greetings! Yes, we have a good little group of x-wingers at 1066. Probably about fifteen of us have ships and there're usually at least two games on. We've two 3x3 mats and one 8x4 at the club so plenty of space to play. we tend to arrange games on the Facebook group. Club is every Thursday from 7pm. I'll be down on the 18th if you want a bash

Hi Ben, Congratualations on finding the club. I found the club about a year ago the same way from Phantasia. I started off with Xwing but have now branched out in to other games as well but always make sure I keep dropping in on the Xwing tables.
I would be interested to hear about your tournament experience. Did you do any of the big events or were they local game store/club events as I'm considering having a dabble with Xwing tournaments this year.
Hope to see you down the club soon

Hi Ben,
I can just echo what the guys have said. A lot of game organisation is on the Facebook page. But if you check out the 'Gallery' section you will get a flavour for the big xwing things we have as a group in the mega game we ran one sataday. Just so you know we break for a while after the 18th (which is the last club night for a couple of weeks). Do you need the address at all or have you found it elsewhere in the forum?

Hi all, Thanks for the welcome all. breccan the 18th sounds good to me. 'Lock S-Foils in Attack Position!' @paul the tournaments were not that 'big' but I competed in mostly shops and clubs and one warehouse. After the time the starter kit came out the there wasn't many hosts doing the tournaments for the Falcon and slave expansions. Is this the correct address: west st leonards community center bexhill rd (at the bottom of filsham rd) I'm now on the group. Thanks.
