Hey all, I wanted to get some ideas from people on 40k. Really I wanted to figure out what people wanted. At the last Apoc day we had 8 players, with it being the 3rd all dayer for 40k.
During the day I did talk to a few players on how often they wanted to see all day gaming or tournaments or campaigns. If the players wanted too I could organise a 40k event every 3 months with say 2 tournaments a year and 2 Apoc games. But again is this too much and would we prefer a single beat down tournament per year and just 1 Apoc. What's your thoughts?
Also for 2015 do people want to see some narrative campaigns (small scale or long hauls) on Thursday nights, leagues, things like the highlander? I've got some ideas on running 'echo of wars' or new narratives or just competitive leagues but of course the most important thing is getting the players interested. So please let me know your preferences and your thoughts!

I really liked the idea of the highlander mini event with three games over six weeks or so. Its an interesting tactical challenge and means I can look to get a grounding in 7th edition knowing there will be reasonable armies across the table from me

Long term for the year it really depends if I can get reinvigorated in 40k.
I would like some smaller doubles events though

Some shorter campaigns or events would be great, loved the big campaign but was finding hard to get to the club every fortnight to make my games. Doubles would be fun, maybe something like the throne of skulls/battle brothers events for an all day session? Looking forward to trying my new army and the highlander style sounds good as i have limited models currently. What about a ladder league or planetstrike campaign?

Short campaigns and events and as many all day events as is practical, apocs and mini-tournament over the past year were too much fun not to do more lol

I would certainly do another campaign again, although a bit smaller might be a bit better. I would also be interested in a more narrative campaign. Oh and I would love to make it to an apoc game, if you can see fit to arrange it on a day that I am free

Looks like we have the interest.
I guess it's figuring out narrative or conpetative. The idea of a team day or mini tournament sounds like a lot of fun.
Battle brothers 101. I might take a little look at some options for that.
