Fantasy Flight have revealed the wave 4 ships. Z-95 Headhunter E-Wing Tie Defender Tie Phantom To be honest I'm a traditionalist and prefer the look of the core ships used in the films but I'm sure these will all find their way into my collection. Its interesting that it looks like they are going in the direction of the expanded universe as opposed to the prequels at the moment. Full details can be found on Fantasy Flights websiteThe Z-95 could make a huge impact as this give the possibility of a rebel swarm list as Bandit Squadron Pilot comes in at only 12 points (the same as a Tie Acadamy Pilot). The E-wing looks like a monster but it does have a high points cost. Fantasy Flight state these will be released in the second Quarter of 2014 but dont hold your breath as history shows they seldom meet their deadlines

I think most lists could find a place for R7-T1 and the Ion Pulse Missiles will prove a pain for any medium based ships

Join us on Thursday!
most of these ships are in tie fighter, the old PC game that made me fall in love with the Star Wars universe. Th z95 will be preordered, and maybe some defenders as well.

I'm falling in love with the imperial guys as they seem to be hard to play well so far against solo/skywalker lists I've played. I've noted that the phantom will have 4 x fire points so will see what the points come in at on release.
I've ordered the tie interceptor twin box with the red and blue emperors guards in - they look nails in the rules!

Agree the new interceptor pilots look like they will be among the best pilots in the game.

TIE defender spoiled on the FFG website TIE defender linkVery expensive but look at that movement dial, some of the tight turns are red but a white Koiogran turn!

I've had more success with tie fighters. But a white koiogran!!! That's sold it for me. " If you will not be turned, you will be destroyed!"

The trouble is at 30 points for the PS1 basic pilot I doubt there will be many lists that have more than 1, Just imagine a 3 ship build with 2 PS1 pilots and 1 character pilot and no points for extras

Yep - mega expensive also only a single K-Turn... But that does mean you can K Turn and then focus, target lock or even Barrel roll - just not great at short sharp turns so think this will fly pretty different to the usual Tie fighters.
The green 5 is very nice too. But the points are still a big draw down but looks like one hell of a tough ship. Can't wait till it hits the stores!
