So with a fair few more X-Wing players kicking about what are people after from this? Also what are people fielding.
I've been doing a fair bit of research and am waiting on an amazon voucher to make my first purchases. I am thinking of starting my Imperial fleet with a bunch of Tie Fighters then probably going down the Thai Advanced route.
Personably I would love to start practicing with 100 point lists in 'tournament' conditions for my games.
But what about other people? Campaigns, other point values or what?
For me I think given it is such a simple and tactical rule set the 100 points gives tonnes of variation, good investment level and can be ALOT of fun. I just can't wait for my amazon vouchers to arrive!!

I think a 100 point tourney would be a fun first official thing, but I'd like to do a linked scenario campaign, each battle affecting the storyline and the forces available for the next game... I've spent too much money now. Got a falcon, shuttle, hwk-290, two y wings, 2 x wings, 3x non-official but correctly scaled z-95 headhunters, an a wing, 2x tie fighter and 2x tie bomber. It's enough for now...going to do some repainting Nd not buy anything else until the next wave.

Ive got most of everything, just need the shuttle. I like the meta game you get with 100 points lists but the Rebel Transport comes with campaign rules. I also want to get the imperial aces and not sure if everyone has seen but the rebel aces pack has been announced with an alternate paint A and B wing
